The following article will describe how to swap your five Hydrotools factory original polypropylene cartridges with a single Pleatco Advanced High Quality Replacement Filter Cartridge.

Remove the Cartridge Filter Lid Assembly

Remove the Hydrotools Cartridge Filter Cover Assembly

Remove 5 original polypropylene cartridges

Remove Hydrotools Cartridge Filter Base Assembly
Although it is not threaded, you may need to spin the Filter Base Assembly to loosen it before it is removed.

Place Hydrotools Replacement Filter Cartridge inside cartridge filter tank

Place Hydrotools Cartridge Filter Lid Assembly back onto filter tank
