Pool Frog Mineral System

The Pool Frog Mineral System is an alternative sanitizing system that utilizes natural minerals and low amounts of chlorine to sanitize the pool. This low maintenance mineral system allows you to eliminate chlorine use by up to 50% and easily installs to any type of filter system. The Pool Frog Leap system does not require any electricity to run and will work with any pool.

Maintaining your mineral system is very simple and requires little effort. It will come with premeasured chlorine Torpedo Pacs that need to be swapped out every 1-2 weeks. How often you change the Torpedo Pacs depends on a number of different factors such as the size of the pool, amount of sunlight that hits the pool and how many people use the pool regularly. The system also uses a mineral pac that needs to be changed only once a year. Additional Torpedo Pacs and Mineral Pacs can be purchased on our website ThePoolFactory.com.

The Pool Frog Leap System is ideal for anyone trying to lower the amount of chlorine in their pool and lessen the amount of work you need to keep your pool clean. This results in less time measuring chemicals and more time enjoying your swimming pool.

Power ionizer

The Power Ionizer releases copper and silver ions into the pool water which helps kill algae, bacteria and viruses while drastically reducing chlorine usage. This system simplifies your pool maintenance routine and reduces itchy skin, irritated eyes and chemical odors.

It is recommended that you shock your pool once a week when using the Power Ionizer. The shock in combination with copper and silver ions will be enough to keep your pool perfectly clean. The system also requires a certain TDS (total dissolved solids) level to work properly. To reach this level you will need to put a bag of pool salt into your water. The last bit of maintenance for your Power Ionizer would be to replace the black mineral chamber. The chamber lasts approximately one pool season, and sometimes more, depending on pool size and usage. This can be purchased directly on our website.

The Power Ionizer requires very little maintenance, uses minimal amounts of chlorine and can work with any pool or filter system. If saving time and effort is something you are trying to achieve, then the Power Ionizer is right for you.

Saltwater Systems

Saltwater systems are user friendly and effective alternative sanitizing systems that provide a silky soft feel to the pool water by consistently generating low amounts of chlorine. It creates a steady chlorine residual that will prevent cloudy water and algae, and it’s very economical to run. Saltwater can be corrosive to most above ground pools. You should only use a saltwater system with pools that are specifically built for saltwater use. The Saltwater 5000 and the Saltwater 8000 are saltwater pools built with special components to resist the corrosion issues associated with Saltwater and are both warranted for saltwater use.

Saltwater Pools

You should only use a saltwater system with pools that are specifically built for saltwater use. That means the pool has a section of the pool wall specifically treated to prevent corrosion.

Drop-in Saltwater Systems

Drop-in Saltwater systems like the Chlorease Ultra, Solaxxx Saltron Retro and the Solaxxx Saltron Retro XL are an economical and effective way to convert the dissolved salt in the pool water into chlorine. These drop-in units hang over the pool wall and go directly into the pool water.

Solaxx Saltron Retro XL

This self-contained purification system utilizes a natural process to generate pure chlorine. The electrolytic process uses a very low concentration of salt (less then a teaspoon per gallon) and generates free chlorine.

Saltwater Chlorine Generator

Return Jet Saltwater Systems

Return Jet Saltwater Systems like the Hayward Aqua Trol RJ and the Hayward Salt & Swim ABG and Solaxx Retro AG are enhanced saltwater systems that simply connect to the water jet return fitting (on the outside of the pool) and convert the dissolved salt in the pool water into chlorine. These return jet saltwater systems include easy-to-read control panels that accurately calculate salt levels.

Solaxx Saltron Retro Jet RJ

The Solaxx Retro Jet system produces a pure, elemental form of chlorine by electrolysis of salt added to the pool water. After the salt is converted to chlorine and bacteria has been killed, the chlorine reverts back to salt and this process is ongoing.

Saltwater Chlorine Generator

Inline (Hard-plumbing) Saltwater Systems

Hard plumbing Saltwater systems like the Solaxxx Saltron Reliant connect to the return line of the pool with PVC pipe or flexible PVC pipe, producing chlorine through the dissolved salt in the water. This unit includes a flow switch and control box that features easy push button icons with LED indicators.

Solaxx Saltron Reliant

The Reliant system produces a pure, elemental form of chlorine by electrolysis of salt added to the pool water. After the salt is converted to chlorine and bacteria has been killed, the chlorine reverts back to salt and this process is ongoing.

Saltwater Chlorine Generator

Since your Saltwater Generator is producing chlorine right in your pool, there will be no need to add any more. Most saltwater generators will let you know when the salt level in your pool is too low. Salt Test strips can also be used to determine how much salt is in your water. The cell inside most saltwater systems should be inspected and cleaned every few months and replaced between 2-4 years, depending on pool size and usage.

Solaxx SafeDip Digital Chemistry Tester

The SafeDip is a digital chemistry reader designed to make measuring pool parameters easy. Simply collect the water sample from the pool using the onboard cup and press the Start button to take your measurement.

Pool Test Kit

If you never want to see a bucket of chlorine again and are in the market for a new pool, a saltwater system in combination with one of our saltwater pools can be exactly what you are looking for.
