Inline Anode For Corrosion Control REG20A

An inline zinc anode is a great addition for your above ground swimming pool. This accessory will protect the pool equipment and keep your pool safe from the potentially corrosive aspects of utilizing a saltwater system. Corrosion will attack the sacrificial anode first, instead of the metal pool components/equipment (zinc anodes have a more active voltage than other metals, therefore, it will erode before the other metals). There are many causes of corrosion on the metal components of your pool and pool equipment, so it is important to maintain proper water chemistry. Corrosion can still occur even if your water is properly balanced, but luckily there are additions that will help prevent this from happening to your swimming pool.

Benefits Of Adding A Sacrificial Inline Anode

  • Easily plumbs to your existing equipment
  • Helpful in swimming pools utilizing a saltwater system to prevent corrosion
  • Prevents corrosion from occurring on heating elements or heat exchange
  • Inexpensive way to double or triple the life of any metal parts on your pool

The zinc inline anode can be installed on above ground swimming pools, inground swimming pools, or spas/hot tubs. This addition will help preserve the swimming pool components and extend the life of the pool equipment.

Installation Of A Sacrificial Inline Anode

The location of the inline anode is flexible so that you can install before or after your filter/heater (if you have a heater). The Inline Anode comes complete with 2″ X 1-1/2″ reducer bushings (hard plumbing with PVC pipe is required for installation). Please view the Manufacturer’s Diagram below.
