Top Ledge – Reference A & B

Top Ledge

The Top Ledges (sometimes referred to as Top Rails) are the resin top finishing components of the swimming pool that are placed between the vertical upright posts. The Top Ledges are 7″ wide and are located at the very top of your pool.

Top Tracks – Reference K & L

Top Track

The Top Track Stabilizers are the tracks/rails that stabilize the top of the pool wall.

Bottom Tracks – Reference G & J

Bottom Track

The Bottom Track inserts into the Upright Boots on the curved sides of the oval swimming pool and sit on top of the Foot Beams on the Straight Sides.

Top Caps – Reference F

Top Cap

The Top Caps go over the Top Joiner Plates. The Top Caps cover all of the hardware where your Top Ledges screw into the Top Joiner Plates.

Cap Extension Collar Straight Side

The Upright Collars are installed at the top of every upright on the outside of the swimming pool.

For the oval shaped Boreal swimming pools there are (2) types of Cap Extension Collars. There are Cap Extensions for the straight side and also the curved sides of the oval. They will differ slightly in shape as the straight side of an oval pool has different uprights than the curved sides and the cap must fit onto the upright.

Top Connector Joiner Plate for Oval Straight Side Uprights

The Top Connector Joiner Plates are screwed in at the top of every Upright. Your swimming pool’s Top Ledges will be screwed into these Top Connectors Joiner Plates.

For oval shaped swimming pools there are (2) types of Top Connectors Joiner Plates. There are Top Connectors for the straight side and also the curved sides of the oval. They will differ slightly in shape as the straight side of an oval pool has different uprights than the curved sides and the Top Connector Joiner Plates must fit onto the top of the upright.

Upright Post – Reference D & O

Upight Post for Curved Side

Upight Post for Straight Side

The Uprights are the vertical posts on the outside of your swimming pool wall. Each upright post on the curved side of the swimming pool clips into the Upright Boots.

For oval shaped swimming pools there are (2) types of Uprights. There are Uprights for the straight side and also the curved sides of the oval. They will differ slightly in shape as the straight side of an oval pool has different uprights than the curved sides and the Top Connector Joiner plate must fit onto the top of the upright.

Upright Boot Bottom Connector – Reference C

Upright Boot Bottom Connector

The Upright Boot Bottom Connectors connect your Bottom Tracks together on the curved sides of an oval swimming pool. Your curved side upright posts will also clip into the Upright Boot Bottom Connector.

Overlap Liner Installation Using Coping Strips

An Overlap Pool Liner is installed by overlapping it over the pool wall and using plastic Coping Strips to hold it in place. Coping Strips are not required when installing a Uni-Bead Liner or J-Hook Liner, but they are included with the swimming pool. If using a Uni-Bead or J-Hook liner you can discard the coping strips.

Splice Brackets – Reference R

The Splice Brackets are attached at each side of the straight side Upright Post.

Foot Beam – Reference Q

Foot Beam

The Foot Beams are installed on the straight sides of the oval and towards the inside of the pool area.

The Straight Side Upright Posts, Splice Brackets, Tension Straps and Pressure Plates will be installed to these Foot Beams.

The Pressure Plates are corrugated steel plates that attach to the Foot Beams.

Foam Block – Reference X

Foam Block

The Foam Blocks are inserted into each end of the Foot Beams. The Foam Blocks are used to prevent voids (sink holes) from forming at the location of the Foot Beams.
